Subclass 186 – Employer Nomination Scheme Visa (Permanent):

This Visa permits you with a direct entry into Australia if you have a specific skill in an occupation that an Australian employer cannot fill with an Australian local. This is a 2 staged process. Nomination application and visa application.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

You must be nominated by an approved sponsor.
Your sponsor must satisfy the sponsor requirement including labour market testing.
You must have specific skills in an occupation that is on the occupation list.
Your skills must satisfy the skills assessment unless you fall into the exemption category.
You must have at least 3 years full time experience in your nominated occupation.
You must be under 45 years of age.
You must satisfy the health and character criteria.
