This visa is for you if...
you want to live in New Zealand permanently and you have skills that can contribute to New Zealand’s economic growth. Your application is more likely to be accepted if you have employment in an area in which New Zealand has a skills shortage.
Criteria :
- You’ll need to have enough skills, experience and qualifications for us to accept your Expression of Interest and invite you to apply for residence.
- You’ll need to be 55 or under when you apply.
- You’ll need to speak English reasonably well.
How long can I stay on this visa
If you meet the visa conditions, indefinitely
- Live, work and study in New Zealand.
- Include your partner, and dependent children aged 24 and under, in your residence application.
After this visa…
if you comply with the visa conditions, you can apply for permanent residence.
Opening and closing dates and times
You can register your interest at any time by sending us your Expression of Interest (EOI). If we select your EOI and you’re invited to apply for residence, you’ll have 4 months to send us your application.
