Work and Holiday visa (subclass 462)

This visa caters to individuals who would like to remain in Australia as a tourist and work to supplement their funds on a short- term basis. This visa will be the second work and holiday visa for the applicant.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

You must be aged between 18 and 30 years old.
You must be outside of Australia for your first application of this visa.
You must hold a passport of a certain Country. Otherwise, you may be subjected to other key requirements such as completion of a certain level of education, English score of 4.5 overall, letter from your home country in support of your application.
You must have access to sufficient funds to financially support yourself during your stay.
You must meet the Australian health and character requirements.
You must have and maintain health insurance
You must enter Australia within 12 months of the visa being granted.
You must not work for more than 6 months with any one employer.
You must not engage in more than 4 months of study.

BENEFITS

You will be able to work for up to 6 months with any one employer.
You will be able to study for up to 4 months.
You may be eligible to work for an extended 12 months if you are employed in a regional area. There are specified work requirements for subsequent visas.
You may be eligible to re-apply for another working tourist visa.
You will be able to travel to and from Australia as many times as you require.
